Compliant with Xbox360/PS3/iPads/Mobile Devices/etc. devices that require the primary Audio stream to be AAC Stereo (many do not accept/work with AAC 5.1 format). Audio Stream 2 available to those that also wish to experience great 5.1 sound that goes right alongside great picture quality.

For those experiencing LOW VOLUME issues, try to playback the 2nd Audio stream in stereo mode, this should improve audio quality and increase the volume substantially.

If you wish to experience 5.1 audio on the original PS3 or Newer PS3, Just select the audio options and ensure the 5.1 stream/track is selected.

PC Users will have to use something like VLC that allows you to choose the 2nd Audio stream/track, Depending on your configuration, vlc should automatically enable 5.1 playback after the track change, but double check by selecting AUDIO ~ Audio Device ~ 5.1

Good copy. Movie plays fine. But I'm still always suprised why these AAC streams always turn out very low volume. Audio is fine but I had to turn my TV up a fair bit to hear it.

It's not the AAC format that does it... it's the downmix that does.

On your tv you should have the option with my encodes to select the 2nd Audio option.. AAC5.1 ... and if you do that.. the audio will match 1:1 volumes and depth, even if your running just stereo.

That is of course if your tv supports aac5.1 playback.

The issue is that when encoding a movies to 2 channel audio, your downmixing which results in all 6 to 8 channels having to be mixed into just 2, and this cannot be done safely without reducing the audio volume to prevent audio clipping errors (pops/cracks/etc)
Excellent quality !

Thanks !
Thank you so much! Great quality in both video and audio!

The 2 channel doesn't affect me, not on tv, nor through my headphones!
